As an Automation Test Engineer, you are instrumental in ensuring our digital products transcend mere functionality to achieve perfection. Your role extends beyond mere bug detection. It's about instilling trust in every interaction. Immerse yourself in an environment where your expertise is crucial in forging user experiences that are smooth, consistent, and cutting-edge. - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source technologies.
- Be the custodian of product quality from the initial phase of requirement gathering all the way to post-release checks. Spearhead and cultivate a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs in the tracking system.
- Work closely with the product and development team to ensure that software issues are documented for reproduction, addressed promptly, and validated once resolved.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to build a solid understanding of the automation tests.
- Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
- Integrate automation scripts into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Who you are
- Proven work experience (4-5 years) as an Automation Test engineer
- Experience with web automation frameworks - Selenium, Cypress
- Solid knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Javascript or Python
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- BE degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
