transportation industries-and we're just getting started.

About the Role
Neuron is seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong background in networking. As a Systems Engineer,
you will work closely with our team of software developers, QA, support, and operations personnel to
ensure our systems are robust, efficient, and secure.

You must have a strong understanding of networking, including switching, routing, subnetting, and
transport layer protocols. Familiarity with the networking aspect of AWS cloud services is desirable for this
role, as you will be expected to support VPC networking and site-to-site VPNs.

This role demands hands-on expertise with hypervisors such as ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox, as well as a
thorough understanding of computer hardware, and operating systems. Experience with Linux, and
scripting in Bash and Python is also highly desirable. Additionally, you will be expected to follow, update,
and create technical documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy in all systems processes and protocols.
You will also need the ability to travel to customer sites and Neuron's Points of Presence (PoPs) as
needed. Because occasional travel is a requirement, you must maintain an active passport, driver’s
license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.

Your work will have a significant impact on the performance and security of our systems, contributing to
the success of our next-generation products. We need a dedicated, organized, and efficient professional
who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

If you are passionate about networking and have a strong technical background, we invite you to join our
innovative team where you will have the opportunity to make a major impact on our product and system
quality.

What You'll Need
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

● Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
● Certification as IT Professional will be an advantage (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, Linux+, RHCE, AWS)
