Senior Frontend Developer (Svelte)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with proven experience in the Svelte Javascript Framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-facing features for our complex web applications. This role demands a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, a commitment to high-quality coding standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, responsive, and visually appealing web applications using Svelte.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and UX/UI designers, to ensure seamless integration and high-quality product delivery.
- Implement dynamic and interactive features that enhance user experience while ensuring optimal performance across all devices and platforms.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers in best practices and advanced concepts of frontend development.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose adaptations that will keep our technology stack modern and efficient.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently to maintain a high level of reliability and performance in our applications.
- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions, advocating for solutions that balance technical considerations with business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years focusing on Svelte.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Svelte, with a deep understanding of reactive programming and component lifecycle.
- Experience with modern frontend development tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Typescript and integration with Svelte.
- Familiarity with state management libraries and concepts.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and real-time data integration (e.g., WebSockets).
- Prior experience in a lead developer role, guiding projects from conception to deployment.
