This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the field of sustainability while contributing to meaningful projects that align with our environmental goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in researching and analyzing sustainability trends, best practices, and regulations to support the development of sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reducing environmental impact and improving sustainability performance across various operations.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and carbon footprint reduction efforts.
  • Contribute to the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data and metrics to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in drafting sustainability communications, reports, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and events related to sustainability to gain exposure to industry professionals and thought leaders.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Currently enrolled as a third-year undergraduate program or master's degree program in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, business, or related field.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship, with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with sustainability-related software and tools is a plus.
  • Previous internship or coursework related to sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Remote position with capability of overnight travel up to 30%.
