Title: Communication Intern

Role Overview

You will play a crucial role in providing support to the People team across a wide range of projects. You will assist the People Coordinator in conceptualising and designing creatives for the assigned projects of employee engagement and DEI. You will be responsible for working on creative materials, which includes designing, editing and producing visual and written content to support various initiatives and enhance communication strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creative Conceptualization – Ideate and collaborate with the People Director and People Coordinator to craft concepts that are inventive, and strategic, and create meaningful experiences for employee engagement and DEI.
  • Visual Asset Design & Support - Work collaboratively with the team to enhance the communication strategy using communication design principles, including presentations, graphics, documents, and digital assets.
  • Graphic Oversight – Ensure comprehensive project design and aid in execution through consistent coordination with the internal design team, and external vendors, if required.
  • Graphic Production - Follow design systems and champion best practices to produce production-ready designs for digital, and print applications.

Experience Needed / Our Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Design.
  • Proven ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including ideation, drawing/sketching, typography, use of colour palettes and texture, and visual presentation development.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
