About the Role
Neuron is seeking a Solutions Engineer. The Solutions Engineer will interface with customers and identify their needs. A Solutions Engineer will work with various Neuron departments from network engineers, support and operations to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer’s experience. The position requires high-level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware, along with low-level programming skills and a passion for focusing and committing. Working on this technology you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the implementation and quality of Neuron next generation products. We need a dedicated, organized, and efficient professional who thrives on being integral to a fast-paced startup environment. We need your skills as an excellent communicator who can set appropriate expectations, keep everyone apprised of progress and action items, manage project plans, balance workloads, and ensure we meet our commitments. You also excel at dealing with the complexities associated with large enterprise customers.


What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Neuron systems on maritime verticals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Neuron systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in satellite communications, with a focus on maritime.
  • Strong understanding of satellite communication systems, including VSAT, L-band, and Ku-band technologies.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts, IP routing, and RF engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
