We are seeking senior-level Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in:

Leading and managing DevOps team
Adopting best practices in integration, deployment (CI/CD) and automation
Process of proactive monitoring, prevention and resolving of issues
Ongoing optimization of various deployment workflows

This is for a full-time, remote-work-at-home position as our headquarters are in the US. We do require team members to work 7am to 4pm EST (with breaks) as our clients are in the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee a robust DevOps Strategy aligned with company goals
  • Manage, mentor and grow team capacities of DevOps engineers providing guidance, setting goals and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Conduct performance reviews, facilitate professional development and assure high team moral
  • Ensure development and implementation of reliable and scalable automation processes – ensure reliability through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure a seamless flow from development to production.
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution
  • Ensure all DevOps processes adhere to security regulations and company policies
  • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify issues. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with development and other production teams to enhance development workflow
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends and best practices
  • Set up production servers to ensure smooth deployment and best practices
  • Participate in client calls whenever DevOps expertise is required

Requirements Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar roles
  • At least 2-3 years in a managerial or team lead role within a DevOps context
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux OS

Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with virtual machines, containers, networks, and RBAC on Digital Ocean and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare services
  • Hands-on experience writing Terraform modules and Ansible roles/collections
  • Hands-on experience writing CI/CD pipelines for Drone CI
  • Experience with Prometheus monitoring system, Python, Bash scripting, Git, and Docker
  • Excellent English communication skills

Managerial Skills:
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
