Viwinco is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee and direct the execution of our strategic sales initiatives within the Mid-South geographic region, with a primary focus on the Carolina coasts. This role is crucial in fostering growth, expanding market presence, and building strong networks by managing the sales team and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage the regional sales team. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance team performance and achieve sales objectives.
Work with the VP of Sales and Territory Managers to develop sales targets and KPIs for the year.
Travel with sales representatives to understand individual development needs, ensuring the business model's success within the distribution network.
Assure that policies and procedures are adhered to and that distributor relationships are maintained and developed.
Approve special pricing and credits from the sales team.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including direct customers, builders, installers, and architects.
Aggressively and continually seek additional growth areas to achieve Viwincoβs strategic goals and objectives.
Maintain a deep understanding of the geographic region, including existing and potential customers, competing manufacturers and distributors, building codes, and the builder and architect base.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives. Use data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Develop and manage the regional sales budget. Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in the building materials or related industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in market analysis and strategic planning.
Willingness to travel within the region as required.
