Job Summary:

 

Responsible for implementing and maintaining Midwest’s quality management system and ensuring that it is implemented and maintained in accordance Midwest’s daily operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish, review, approve, revise, implement, maintain, and control the quality management system, as applicable to Midwest’s quality objectives and operations.
  • Authority/organizational freedom to enforce the controls established by the Midwest’s quality management system.
  • Provide liaison with regulatory agencies, clients, regulatory auditors, client’s third party, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain employee-training program.
  • Develop and implement internal quality audits program, including scheduling and assignment of qualified personnel to conduct the internal audit.
  • Provide technical review and approval of Midwest’s suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintenance and archiving of quality system documents and company quality records.
  • Coordinate management reviews as a member of the management review board.
  • Provide the identification, control, maintenance, and calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment utilized to verify the conformity of Midwest’s products.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • American society for quality certified quality Supervisor certification preferred.
  • Must have exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Must have exceptional communication abilities.
  • Must be a well-organized self-starter who is able to meet deadlines.
  • Multiple years’ experience with a manufacturing company aggressively improving quality using advanced quality tools.
