We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for our Rancho Dominguez, CA facility. 


Here at Techmer PM, we are looking for quality people that want to start their career in excellence and become part of the fast-growing Techmer Team. This is a Machine operator position. You will be working in a manufacturing environment with pigments, additives and polymers. You will be responsible for operating mixing machines and  extrusion lines. Since the safety of our team members is our top priority, this position requires the use of multiple types of PPE at all times. This job involves moving key equipment into place, handling raw materials, mixing and batching raw materials, setting up the production line, operating the line, observing and recording key data, cleaning the line, collecting retains for quality inspection, packaging, and labeling finished product and performing other auxiliary duties as needed.


Key skills required include attention to detail, the ability to use a computer to read instructions and enter process data, read and follow detailed instructions, keep up with and understanding the importance of creating a quality product, and working as a team with others.


Responsibilities include:


· Safety Implementation


· Quality assurance


· Equipment management


· Process information management


· Interdepartmental communication/coordination


· Event participation - Lean, Safety, Kaizen


· Other duties may be assigned


Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:


· High school diploma or GED


· 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. Extrusion experience is highly desired.


The pay range for this position is between: $20.96-$22.00 per hour depending upon experience.
