ARE YOU A JUNIOR-LEVEL INTERIOR TECHNOLOGIST LOOKING FOR A NEW OPPORTUNITY?

 

 

As education specialists, this company receives a very high proportion of all the government-funded work commissioned by the Department of Education and balances this with private projects around the world. They are particularly specialised in designing disability schools to create a positive learning environment for all students. They are a friendly, and sociable team of about 30 that works together to produce high-quality work. This company believes strongly in supporting people to be the best they can be, and as such has recently restructured its training to ensure that junior designers will have mentors and multiple points of support. 

 

We are looking for a Graduate or Junior Interior Technologist with strong experience in Revit to join the team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality space plans and technical drawings using Revit. While extensive training will be given, you must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.

Relevant degrees would include: Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, and Architectural Technology - you must have some experience/knowledge of UK building standards/regulations and a grasp of space planning. 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS for this role include:

 

  • Proficiency in REVIT is essential. You must already have worked extensively with this particular software, be that throughout University or professionally. A REVIT test will be administered as part of the application process. 
  • Familiarity with space planning
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to a deadline and manage multiple projects.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

 

RESPONSIBILITIES for this role include:

  • Producing high-quality space plans and technical drawings using Revit.
  • Working closely with the design team to implement design concepts.
  • Ensuring that all technical drawings are accurate and meet the required standards.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Providing technical expertise and advice to the design team as required.
