Job Description:


The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of equipment and materials to our customers, both domestically and internationally. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Organize and manage domestic and international shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant global regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers of various nationalities, languages, and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
