FASTSIGNS of Gurnee is a leader in providing custom signage and visual communications solutions. We work with a wide range of businesses to enhance their branding and marketing through innovative signage, banners, and more. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative/Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth, while also assisting with receptionist and phone-answering responsibilities.



What You’ll Do:



Sales & Account Management:




  • Generate New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with decision-makers, business owners, and local organizations. Utilize cold-calling, email outreach, and social media to develop a robust sales pipeline.


  • Consult & Close Sales: Promptly address inquiries from potential clients, whether they come through phone calls, emails, or walk-ins, and provide solutions based on their specific needs. Understand client needs and offer tailored signage solutions that address their unique marketing and branding challenges. Conduct virtual or in-person meetings to present proposals and close deals.


  • Maintain Relationships: Build and cultivate long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Act as the primary point of contact for existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.


  • Track Success: Use CRM systems to track leads, sales performance, and client satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow up promptly.


Receptionist & Administrative Duties:




  • Answer Phones: Greet clients and prospects over the phone, respond to inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate team members.


  • Front Desk Support: Welcome visitors to the store, provide information about our products and services, and assist with walk-in clients as needed.


  • Administrative Tasks: Handle basic administrative responsibilities such as managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate customer records in our CRM and point-of-sale system.


Collaborate & Advise:




  • Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (production, design, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of projects, from initial sale to final installation.


  • Consultative Approach: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic signage solutions that meet their business objectives.


Skills & Qualifications:




  • Sales Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment. Experience in the signage, marketing, or visual communications industry is a plus.


  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor both in person and over the phone.


  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage client relationships. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


  • Self-Starter & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and stay motivated to meet sales goals and performance metrics.


  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with the sales, marketing, and production teams to deliver the best possible solutions to clients.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required) or equivalent experience

  • Experience in customer-facing industries like retail, marketing, construction, facilities, business development, or real estate is a bonus

  • Familiarity with visual communications or the signage industry is a plus

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
