The Opportunity

We are looking for a Handyman & French Polisher to work with our Client Services team to help fix any small quality issues with product to ensure that it is delivered to our clients in perfect condition. It may be that an ex-display item requires some attention before being sold, or a third party item has arrived in less-than-perfect condition; whatever the circumstances, you'll have the skills and expertise to ensure that excellent finishes and quality are achieved. You may also be required to assist with moving luxury furniture around our showroom for display purposes, as well as moving items once sold.

Key Skills Required

  • You take pride in your work
  • Skilled in French polishing and repairing furniture
  • Basic knowledge of DIY/furniture assembly
  • Good initiative, proactive attitude
  • Ability to lift heavy items (luxury furniture); manual handling knowledge 


Accountabilities

  • Careful movement of luxury items including large, heavy pieces of furniture
  • Work with our Lead Technician to improve the finish of products
  • Identify product that can be repaired and sold via our outlet
  • Ad hoc decoration/carpentry
