We are currently seeking an eCommerce Email Strategist with hands-on experience in email campaign production and management to help build effective email programs for Groove Commerce’s clients. At Groove Commerce, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content creation, and the dissemination of copy.  You should be able to answer key questions such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions turn into conversions.

Who Are You? 
The perfect cross-section of creativity and strategy. You have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, and an understanding of how email efforts interact with other marketing channels. You have expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, A/B testing, copy and design approaches. You have a way with words when it comes to resonating with customers, and the ability to stay relevant by staying up to date with the latest trends. 

What We Need You to Do:

    • Demonstrate expertise in email marketing platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot etc. to Clients and internal teams
    • Be Client-facing, and assist in discussing key deliverables, reporting, etc. in Client and internal calls
    • Develop and manage Client CRM strategy end-to-end, including customer lifecycle management, segmentation, and engagement initiatives
    • QA all email marketing deliverables for owned Clients, ensuring we are producing #GrooveApproved work 100% of the time
    • Performance Analysis – Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of email and SMS marketing efforts to Clients and internal teams, using insights to optimize future efforts and improve engagement and conversion rates 
    • Conceptualize and lead automated marketing programs and campaigns for Clients and ensure we’re achieving growth goals, positive ROI, and customer satisfaction
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with other marketing team members, including Design and Performance Marketing, Implementation Manager, etc. to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts
    • Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel – marketing calendar, strategy, and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing, measurement, and reporting with implementation partners
    • Partner with Account Managers, Design, Development and Operations teams to improve customer journeys based personalized experiences across all customer touch points
    • Participate in project evaluations and assessment of projects as a way to improve the Groove product
    • Help create and execute educational initiatives for the Email team and greater Groove team such as developing internal resources and training materials, and presenting them
    • Work closely with internal and agency partners to optimize performance and improve strategy

About You:

    • 3+ years of experience as an email marketer and digital marketing
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • A Klaviyo Expert 
    • Agency experience is a must
    • Proficient in Google Analytics reporting
    • Maintain certifications in key partner platforms as needed
    • A deep understanding of digital marketing tactics across multiple channels including SEO, email marketing and social
    • Fanatical about metrics that matter to our clients - Traffic, Revenue, AOV, and CVR
    • Analytic mindset and experience with reporting tools
    • Deep knowledge and passion for eCommerce, digital marketing and innovation
    • Ability to work in an open, collaborative environment
    • Be able to handle multiple, competing priorities, meet deadlines, manage risk, and troubleshoot problems
$74,800 - $95,200 a year
