Director of Business Development

Think Design, a Havas company is actively recruiting Business Development Director for its company wide operations. We are seeking hunters with a successful track record of developing new business for agencies with a revenue of at least US$ 5M.
 
Objectives of this role
- Develop, execute, and oversee a new business development strategy that prioritises growth.
- Track, monitor and report progress periodically, aligning to the business goals and targets.
- Hunt and close deals as per the strategies set out, along with a team of business development professionals.

Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level industry research and develop effective sales solutions by actively reaching out to the decision makers.
- Promote company’s services to prospective clients.
- Participate in collaborative business meetings and close deals.
- Nurture the team, provide continuous feedback and establish excellence in business development practice.
- Develop customer relationships and drive sales success.

Skills
- Experience in hunting for opportunities and closing deals.
- Experience in driving customer relationships and growing client accounts.
- Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team development skills.
- Problem-solving skills coupled with very strong networking and negotiation skills.

Qualifications
- Minimum qualification in B.Tech, B.E or equivalent technical disciplines. In addition, a post graduate degree in Business Administration is desirable.
- Proven record of sales growth in B2B agency setting with a revenue of at least US$ 5M.
- Comprehensive understanding of Experience Design disciplines (UX, Research, Data Visualisation) is a must.
- 15+ years of Industry experience

The position is on-site Bengaluru and requires travel. The position reports to the CEO of the company.
