Job Description: As a member of the Design Research and Development (R&D) team, perform hands-on design of Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) circuits and compiler timing/power characterization, netlist/layout tiling, and several verification flows. Participate in the planning and implementation of circuit, compiler coding, and the interpretation of testing results. Work with Senior SRAM Designer to execute SRAM compiler verification and quality control. Serve as a technical contributor for circuit design and compiler related work. Frequently interact with the TSMC headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Work experience or academic coursework must have included: experience in SRAM architecture, schematic and layout, and Cadence virtuoso and Spice simulation; experience in transistor level designs, CMOS devices and cells characterization; power management with high performance and power efficiency; logic designs, including Verilog/VHDL; and experience in scripting languages, either Perl or Python.
