Ø  Responsibilities:


  • Operate
    and monitor Turning Centre & Vertical Machining Centre equipment in
    accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Set
    up and configure machines for production runs, ensuring precision and
    accuracy in the machining process.
  • Conduct
    routine inspections of machinery, identify potential issues, and perform
    necessary adjustments or maintenance.
  • Collaborate
    with the production team to achieve production goals and meet quality
    standards.
  • Monitor
    and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and tooling required for
    machine operation.
  • Troubleshoot
    and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize
    productivity.
  • Adhere
    to strict quality control measures to ensure the production of aerospace
    components meets industry standards.
  •  5S to be maintained in their
    work limited area.

  • Daily routine maintenance
    must be done.

Ø  Technical
Skills:


  • Proficient
    in operating and programming VTM machinery for aerospace components.
  • Knowledge
    of machining processes, including turning, milling and drilling.
  • Ability
    to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity
    with precision measuring tools such as Micrometers, Calipers and Gauges.
  • Understanding
    of materials used in aerospace manufacturing and their machining
    characteristics.
  • Experience
    with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems and programming.

Ø  Qualifications:


  • High
    School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational
    training preferred.
  • Proven
    experience as a machine operator in an aerospace or precision machining
    environment.
  • Familiarity
    with CNC Turning Centre & Vertical Machining Centre machines and CNC
    programming.
  • Ability
    to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Understanding
    of workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
