Key Accountabilities:
§ Lead and support Pipe Stress
analysis projects using CAESAR II and/or AutoPipe as per customer requirements.
§ Interface with customer and take
care of regular project communications with customer.
§ Understand
and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component
and systems.
§ Perform static and dynamic (modal, harmonic and response spectrum
analysis) stress analysis for complex piping systems for various loading combinations
as per the specified design codes.
§ Perform flange leakage checks, blast analysis, transit analysis, slug
checks, wind and seismic analysis, AIV & FIV checks.
§ Preparation of Critical Line list, Loads to Layout/Structural and Stress
Analysis Report.
§ Evaluate Stress, Displacement, Forces and moments on restraints for
support design and Evaluate piping loads within allowable nozzle loads.
§ FE analysis of Nozzle using NozzlePRO.
§ Review of vendor documents of equipment’s for conforming Nozzle Forces
and Moments and Fixed and Sliding Supports.
§ Design and selection of pipe supports, springs hangers & Expansion
joints.
§ Perform reinforcement evaluation at pipe supports and branch
connections.
§ Preparation of datasheets for springs, Expansion joints, struts, snubbers
and springs hangers review of vendor drawings & technical bid analysis.
§ Perform isometrics checking for critical and non-critical lines using
model and ensure support types selected in line with stress requirements.
§ Coordinate with Civil/Structural & Mechanical groups to ensure loads
are being effectively communicated.
§ Assist the team of engineers, designers/draftsman, and modelers and
provide technical support and guidance.
§ Assists P&ID’ section preparation for stress inputs of line list.
§ Interaction with Vendors / Clients / Third party members.
