Accounts Receivable Specialist

GoEngineer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide support to department staff as needed and to perform routine accounting functions to support the accounts receivable department. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Your key contributions in this role will include:

• Timely responding to incoming customer requests including phone calls, emails, W9 and tax requests, and new customer setup. 
• Work with customers to collect past due amounts. 
• Validating accuracy of customer data in accounting system 
• Generate and send customer invoices as needed. 
• Follow up and reaching out to customers for past-due payments. 
• Creating journal entries as needed in accounting system. 

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills, however interested candidates who do not meet all of the criteria should still apply.  

• 1+ year(s) of accounting/bookkeeping experience 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook 
• Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability 
• Ability to work in multiple systems at the same time 
• Create reports 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Typing proficiency 
• NetSuite experience preferred. 

Education Preferred:

Associate Degree in accounting preferred or equal professional experience. 

What GoEngineer Offers:

This is a full-time position, which can be in-person out of our Cincinnati, OH office. This position can be done full-time in-person, or hybrid with 3 days in office. 

We offer hourly pay based on experience with a range of $20-22/hour, plus great benefits.
