• Responsible for pulling samples to meet quality assets.
• Accountable for entering and organizing all information on materials and boxes received.
• Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form through computer usage.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records or purchasing order.
• Responsible for monthly finished goods inventory and quarterly inventory on raw materials.
• Ensure proper put-away/stocking of inventory.
• Interpret route cards to ensure accurate disbursement of materials.
• Find any missing documentation or investigate where a problem may have evolved from.
• Organize all the raw materials to make sure it’s assessable and rotating.
• Answer questions and fix problems for others through out the plant.
• Identify mistakes in purchasing orders and edit the mistakes.
• Consistently communicate with production line in finding various things they may be looking for.
• Check quality of incoming raw materials for mishandling and damages; describe and note damages.
• Unload trucks, sort material by destination and move material from one stocking location to another using appropriate inventory transaction.
• Ensure the pulling and timely delivery of material to meet production schedules.
• Process internal stock transfers from one plant to another with accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles as required.
• Work independently and as a team on pulling and issuing of material to production.
• Learn and apply Lean concepts within functional responsibilities.
• Purchasing Research; Forecast out 48 hours to determine materials needed and what jobs are capable of being ran or not.  Investigate ways jobs can be processed with lack of material or determining when materials may be ready.
• Entitled to have the knowledge and ability to do other jobs within the plant as well.
